CHICAGO, IL - February 9, 2007 - InStep Software, LLC, a
leading provider of real-time software systems and solutions, announced
today that the City of Des Moines, IA has selected InStep's flagship data
historian, eDNA.
City of Des Moines Water Reclamation Authority will implement eDNA as the long term data archive and visualization solution for their
complete watershed district. eDNA will connect to Des Moines' Rockwell PLC-based
control system to collect and archive high resolution data in real-time.
About Des Moines Water Reclamation Facility The $165 million Des Moines
Water Reclamation Facility is a wastewater treatment plant that serves the
greater Des Moines metropolitan area, as well as 13 surrounding communities. Originally constructed in the 1930s, the water reclamation facility was capable
of handling 30 million gallons per day (MGD); it has since been rebuilt to
handle nearly 200 MGD.
